HE Dikko Umaru Radda

Dikko Umaru Radda is a Nigerian economist and politician who is currently serving as the governor of Katsina State. He was elected governor in the 2023 Nigerian gubernatorial elections. Radda, born on September 10, 1969, has had a distinguished career in public service. Prior to his election as governor, he served as the director-general of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). He has also held various other positions, including Chief of Staff to the Governor of Katsina State and Chairman of Charanchi Local Government Council. As governor, Dikko Umaru Radda has prioritized infrastructure development, education reform, healthcare improvement, agriculture promotion, and job creation. His policies aim to create an enabling environment for economic growth and improve the standard of living for the people of Katsina State.
